On arrival in Nairobi you are met by Travel Wild and are transferred to your hotel. After lunch we visit the Giraffe Centre and the Karen Blixen Museum. Our next stop is Mamba Village and Utamaduni Arts & Crafts, a centre for locally made handicrafts. In the evening join your travel companions for a welcome dinner. The Nairobi Serena L,D After breakfast we meet other rafters and leave for a day of thrills and spills while white water rafting. Enjoy 3 kms of class II and III white water or 6 kms of calm scenic river, before completing the adventure with 6 kms of fast, stimulating class IV and V white water. After a late bar-b-que lunch we depart for Outspan Hotel for the night. The Outspan Hotel B,L,D Drive north this morning, towards the home of the Samburu people wrapped in colorful fabrics and jewellery. Enjoy two days of viewing the specially adapted wildlife such as the Reticulated giraffe, Grevy zebra, Somali ostrich. Search for the leopards in trees, hippos in pools and elephants in the bush. A visit to a traditional Samburu village can be arranged. With over 300 species of birds, including the Martial eagle, bird enthusiasts will be busy indeed. Samburu Serena L,D,B After an early morning game drive in the Samburu reserve we head south for Sweetwaters, a camp on a private 110,000 acre ranch populated by elephant, zebra and leopard. Set out on an afternoon on a game drive and visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Morani, the tame rhino. After dinner, view game from the camp at the waterhole. Sweetwaters Tented Camp L,D,B After breakfast, leave for Lake Naivasha in the Rift Valley. We lunch at Elsamere and thereafter depart for Hell's Gate National Park for rock climbing on Fischer's Tower. This rock surface offers challenging climbs for both the beginner and the experienced climber. Relax in the evening at Elsamere, the former home of Joy and George Adamson. Elsamere L,D,B Drive through the Rift Valley to the land of the Maasai tribe and into the wildlife reserve named after them. For two days experience some of the finest game viewing in Kenya, which reveals endless savannas with huge prides of lions and an abundance of zebra, wildebeest, gazelle and giraffe. Mara Simba L,D,B After a final early morning game drive and breakfast we leave for Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch. The afternoon is at your leisure shopping for curios or relaxing.
