Arrive in Nairobi this morning and transfer to your hotel. After lunch and a briefing, we take you on an afternoon tour to visit some of the city's prominent sights. Feed the world's tallest mammal at the Giraffe Centre; see the historic Karen Blixen estate; come face to face with crocodiles at the Mamba Village and shop at the Utamaduni Crafts Centre. Dine tonight at a renowned restaurant in the city's suburbs.

Our exciting day of white-water thrills starts early as you make our way to the Sagana River, where our experienced and professional guides will be waiting. The spectacular scenery and bird and animal life makes for a totally unique safari. After a bar-b-que lunch on the banks of the river, return to civilisation at a comfortable country manor hotel near the Aberdare Mountains.

The morning is at leisure to play golf, enjoy a horseback ride or to simply relax by the club's swimming pool. After Lunch at the Country Club we are transferred to The Ark for a night of game viewing. The Ark is sited beside a salt lick and waterhole attracting animals, out of the forest at night to drink and take salt.

After breakfast we drive north across the Equator to a unique region of rare animals and desert. The Samburu Game Reserve is brought to life by the Ewaso Nyiro River - this unique habitat is home to a wide variety of animals including elephant, lion, oryx and longnecked gerenuk. Search for these residents during our morning and afternoon game drives through the park.

After a hearty breakfast we drive to a private 110,000-acre ranch, a sanctuary for chimps, the endangered rhino, elephant, zebra and leopard. Look out for these during our afternoon and night game drives. At the day's end, return to camp for a dinner overlooking the waterhole, and a conversation around the fireplace, while watching the animals at the waterhole.

Heading South, we visit the Lake Nakuru National Park in the heart of the Rift Valley. The lake is justly famous for its visiting flocks of flamingos, a growing population of rhino and sightings of leopard. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this scenic park.

Today we set off for the Mara, the Kenyan portion of the great Serengeti ecosystem, arriving in time for lunch. There will be an early evening game drive in the gently rolling grassy hills of the park, which is renowned for hosting the 'Big Five'. Return to our luxury tented camp in time for a shower and a cool drink before dinner.

We rise at dawn for an early morning cup of tea or coffee before heading off for our first game drive of the day. We may visit the Hippo Pools, Leopard Gorge or Rhino Hill in our search for game in the Masai Mara. Return to the camp for breakfast. Relax by the pool or bask in the sun before lunch. Afternoon tea or coffee is followed by another game drive.

After breakfast, we return to Nairobi and to our day room at our hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure and our guides will be happy to take you shopping for any curios or momentos. Lunch is at your discretion and can be at one of the many restaurants in the heart of the city. We end our journey with a feast of various game meats at the renowned Carnivore Restaurant, an experience not to be missed, before we take you to the airport for your flight home.
