On
arrival in Nairobi, you are met and transferred
to your hotel. Your Kenya introduction begins
with a tour of the city's outskirts. Visit the
Giraffe Centre, tour the former home of Karen
Blixen, with fabulous views of the Ngong Hills -
and shop for Kenyan crafts at Utamaduni Crafts
Centre. After our afternoon tour, enjoy an early
dinner at one of Kenya's renowned restaurants.

Our
wild life experience begins today as we drive to
Amboseli National Park. Here, with just a little
luck, we will see elephant, lion, cheetah and the
endangered Black rhinoceros and an abundance of
other animals of the African savannah. View these
against a backdrop of snow-capped Mount
Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest and most
spectacular mountain. This afternoon, set out on
a game drive in search of more of these animals.

Enjoy
morning and afternoon game drives below the
magnificent mountain. Enjoy the picturesque and
breathtaking views. Amboseli has inspired
countless artists and writers including
Hemingway, who described it as 'the essence of
Africa'.

After
an early morning game drive, we return to
Nairobi. In the afternoon we take a tour of the
city and visit the National Museum and Snake
Park. Enjoy a hearty dinner before retiring for
the night.

Enjoy
an early morning breakfast before meeting other
rafters and leave together for Sagana and an
exciting day of white-water rafting. After
rafting we have a late afternoon bar-b-que on the
banks of the Tana River before leaving for the
Aberdare National Park.

Enjoy
the morning horseback riding, playing golf and
swimming or visit the nearby wildlife sanctuary.
After lunch, proceed to The Ark, where we enjoy
overnight game viewing from the lounges that
overlook the floodlit waterholes.

This
morning we drive down to the floor of the Great
Rift Valley and to Lake Nakuru National Park-
This park was established in 1960 primarily as a
bird sanctuary and was described by the great
American ornithologist Roger Tory Peterson as
'the most fabulous bird spectacle in the world'
with a huge concentration of nearly two million
lesser flamingoes. Enjoy the spectacular bird and
animal life during this afternoon's game drive.

This
morning, drive across the Rift Valley to the
rolling dappled plains of the Masai Mara. Here
animals move freely between the Mara and
Serengeti providing the greatest animal spectacle
in the world- the annual migration of the
wildebeest. In July and August more than a
million wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara River
from Serengeti to graze on new grass which has
sprouted following the annual rains. Enjoy a game
drive this afternoon.

Enjoy
early morning and afternoon game drives in the
Mara. If luck permits, we may see herds of
elephant and giraffe, lions on the prowl,
cheetahs hunting or a pack of hyenas on the
chase.

After
a final game drive this morning we depart for
Nairobi. Lunch and the afternoon have been, left
to your discretion, which is free for last minute
shopping and packing. Tonight, celebrate your
adventures at a farewell dinner at the famous
Carnivore Restaurant, before you begin your
homebound journey.
